UN-Backed International Cities of Peace Honors Nigerian Media Icon Cyril Odenigbo as Peace Ambassador
In a landmark moment for peace and innovation in Africa, Cyril Chikwelu Odenigbo, Executive Director and Founder of Magnus Film Academy, Magnus Media Studios, and iDOFF Technology, has been conferred with the Peace Ambassador Award by the International Cities of Peace, a United Nations-backed organization committed to advancing global peacebuilding initiatives.
The award ceremony, held on April 21, 2025, recognizes Odenigbo’s outstanding leadership and lifelong commitment to peace, youth empowerment, and the transformative power of media and technology. Under the leadership of Chair and Lead Facilitator J. Fred Arment, the organization commended Odenigbo’s impact in shaping narratives that promote peace and unity in Nigeria and beyond.

With a career spanning over 28 years, Odenigbo has been a pioneer in Nigeria’s creative industry, training thousands of young professionals through Magnus Film Academy and producing high-quality documentaries and digital content via Magnus Media Studios. His influence extends into tech innovation through iDOFF Technology, a digital solutions platform providing smart event tools, NFC-enabled business profiles, and streamlined professional branding systems.
